We will have a live band, dessert & coffee, and a silent auction showcasing fantastic items! For the kids, we will have an inflatible jumper and face painting. AND childcare will be provided!
Ginelove and her team has been so encouraged as people and businesses in the community have rallied together to make donations and provide items for us to auction. Below is a little teaser list of what we will have at the auction. Items are being added everyday! Our first big fundraiser was a HUGE success! After all was said and done, we raised a total of $1,022.90 for Ginelove! That’s nothing short of AMAZING! Thank you Jesus for providing the people, the donations, the shoppers, and location! Everything came together beautifully.
Thank you everyone who donated your time, money, and stuff! Without each of you, it would not have been so massively successful!
Here’s a look back at last Saturday!

Ginelove decided she was going to be a little shy. So we had to let everyone know who we were there for!

Hannah sold lemonade and snacks to customers (and volunteers) while Jeff provided entertainment by playing the air guitar.

Lindsey G. and Lester spent most of the day waving our customers in. They did a great job! We had a constant flow all day long!

Kathy, Jason, and Lindsey took up money and joined in on haggling with customers!

When LG wasn’t waving customers down, she was shopping!

When we didn’t need the boys’ braun, we let them chill out in the back and sip lemonade.
Thanks for coming out and supporting the Wonderful Ginelove!

Trust – noun. a firm belief in the strength of someone.
We are on a new message series at church called, Five Things God Uses to Grow Your Faith. Andy Stanley begins by saying…
“Imagine for a moment that you had absolute, perfect faith and confidence in God – in a personal God who knew your name and always heard your prayers. Even when life was rocky and things weren’t going your way, even when circumstances only got worse. Imagine if the natural response in your mind and heart would be, God’s in control; he’s going to work this out; and he has a perfect plan for my life. So, I’ll wait patiently and see what he has in store for me”.
Angie Smith in What Women Fear says, "Mistrust is the root of disbelief towards God. It means that we have a false picture of God in our hearts. Sin entered the world when Adam and Eve wondered if God really had their best interest in mind. Because they listened to the lie spoken by Satan in Genesis 3: 1; he was able to convince them that they might be staking their life on a false or misunderstood claim. God says He is good . . . is He? He tells you He has your best in mind . . . does He? He boasts that he is almighty, all-knowing, all together trustworthy . . . is He? God has been working with us on this trust issue ever since. His desire is to draw us into a relationship built around our absolute, perfect confidence in Him." So far, my World Race journey has been a test of trust.
I was given a chance to put my faith and trust in action when I applied for the World Race. When I first saw that I would have to raise $15,500 dollars in order to go on this yearlong mission, I freaked! My first thought was I can’t go, how am I going to raise all this money? I don’t know any of the languages and I really don’t have anything to contribute. I felt inadequate in every way. But I decided that I was not going to live out of fear and that I would join God in whatever He was working on. Besides being full of myself never worked for me, so I was going to take a leap of faith and focus on God for once in my life. When I got accepted to be on the World Race, I told God “You called me on mission. I’m going to trust you to provide the funds and everything else”
“You called me on mission. I’m going to trust you to provide the funds and everything else”
And let me tell you, God is providing! I have a lot of friends who have walked with me and have supported me from the beginning of this endeavor. AND, I’ve had friends of friends, people I have never even met, donating to my mission! God is blowing me away thus far. I’m believing God to provide for every single penny and for everything else that I will need to go on this journey.
I’m going to trust Him even when I can’t see his hand in my life. Even when a lot of people still think I’m crazy.

Have any of you heard of Rev. S.M. Lockridge? I've stumbled upon this and would like to share these words of his.
"That's My King!"
You Can Trust Him. It is He who made us. It is He who made us and not we ourselves. The heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament shows His handiwork. No means of measure can define His limitless love and no far seeing telescope can bring into visibility the coastline of His shoreless supply. I'm telling you today. You can trust Him.
HALLELUJAH!
No barrier can hinder Him from pouring out His blessing. He's endearingly strong and He's entirely sincere, He's eternally steadfast and He's immortally graceful. He's imperially powerful and He's impartially mercifully. He's the great phenomena that has ever crossed the horizon of this world. He's God's Son. He's the sinner's Savior. He's the centerpiece of civilization. I'm trying to tell you church. You can trust Him. YEAH!
He does not call for help. You can't confuse Him. He doesn't need you and He doesn't need me. He stands alone in the solitude of Himself. He's august, He's unique, He's unparalleled, He's supreme, He's preeminent, He's unprecedented. He's the loftiest idea in literature. He's the highest personality in philosophy, He's the supreme problem of higher criticism.
He's the fundamental doctrine of true theology. He's the cardinal necessity of the spiritual religion. He's the miracle of the age, He's the superlative of everything good that you can call Him. I'm trying to tell you, You can trust him . YEAH!
He can satisfy all your needs and He can do it simultaneously. He supplies strength for the weak and He is available for the tempted and the tried. He supervises and He sees. He guards and He guides. He heals the sick and He cleanses the leper, He forgives sinners, He discharges debtors, He delivers the captives, He defends the people, He blesses the young, He regards the aged, He rewards diligent, He beautifies the meek. I'm trying to tell you church, You can trust Him.
HALLELUJAH!
He is the key to knowledge. He is the wellspring of wisdom, He is the doorway of deliverance, He is the pathway of peace. He is the roadway of righteousness. He is the highway of holiness, He is the gateway to glory. You can trust Him. He is the master of the mighty. He is the captain of the conquerer. He is the leader of legislators, He is the governor of the governors, He is the overseer of the overcomers. He is the Prince of princes. He is the King of kings. He is the Lord of Lords. You can trust Him. YEAH!
His office is manifold. His promise is sure. His life is matchless. His goodness is limitless. His mercy is everlasting. His love never changes. His Word is enough. His grace is sufficient. His reign is righteous. His yoke is easy. His burden is light. I wish I could describe him to you. HALLELUJAH!
He is indescribable because He is incomprehensible. He is irresistible because He is invincible. You can't get Him off you hands. You can't get Him off your mind. You can't outlive Him and You can't live without Him.
Pilate couldn't stand it when he found out he couldn't stop Him and he could not find any fault in Him and the witnesses couldn't agree. Herod couldn't kill Him and death couldn't handle Him and thank God the grave couldn't hold Him. YEAH!
There was nobody before Him. There will be nobody after Him. He has no predecessor. He will have not successor. You can't impeach Him and he is not going to resign. You can trust Him. APPLAUSE
He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. He is all things. He is the giver of all things. He is joy out of every sorrow. He is the light out of every darkness. He's the peace that passes all understanding. He is the giver of every good and perfect gift. You can trust Him. There was no God before Him. There will be none after Him. He is the last. He is preeminent. There is no other God. AMEN!

I was trying to think of a catchy title to this blog to capture people's attention, to trick you all into thinking your reading something other than a request for support. But, I couldn't think of anything, so I figured calling it exactly what it is is the only way to go. This is my letter of support. I need financial support. Support is not an option. So please read and then give as you feel led. Thanks!

The World Race is a stretching journey to 11 countries in 11 months to serve “the least of these.” This unique mission trip is a challenging adventure for young adults to abandon worldly possessions and a traditional lifestyle in exchange for an understanding that it’s not about me; it’s about the Kingdom.
I have been called out of my comfort zone into an adventure. I have been called to be exposed to what God is doing in the world. I am choosing to give up the idea of the American dream for now, because it is not about me, it is about the Kingdom. I feel privileged and blessed beyond measure to be counted worthy of such exposure to the Kingdom of God. I go in faith; I go in hope of seeing the Kingdom of God come alive on earth.
On this 11months journey, I will be involved in more than I can imagine. Here are a few things I am certain to participate in: caring for orphans, feeding the hungry, sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, praying for the sick, praying for the broken, connecting with the least of these in order to share the hope of our Savior and Lord.
My Path: India, Nepal, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania
I need your support financially and prayerfully. The total cost of my trip is $15,500 for travel, food, housing, and other expenses. So far I have raised nearly $3,000 and need to raise the remaining $12,000. Please consider how you can support me.
You can support me here on this site, just click the "Support Me" button over to the left. You may also send a check. If you send a check, be sure to include Ginelove Bongarcon in the memo section so it can be forwarded to my individual account. Make checks payable to “Adventures in Missions” and mail to:
Adventures in Missions
P.O. Box 534470
Atlanta, GA 30353-4470
Thank you in advance for your prayerful and financial support. I cannot do this World Race without people like you. My prayer is to be fully funded by June!
Please do not hesitate to contact me via facebook, email, or phone if you have any questions about my trip.

Music is such a wonderful way that God uses to communicate his love through us. I'm so grateful for people he has bless with such gifts to turn words into something beautiful. Music are like a theraphy once you add the melody, harmony, rhythm it can take you in places you would never imagine.
Lord, I want to feel your heart
And see the world through your eyes
I want to be your hands and feet
I want to live a life that leads
Ready yourselves, ready yourselves
Let us shine the light of Jesus in the darkest night
Ready yourselves, ready yourselves
May the powers of darkness tremble as our praises rise
Until the whole world hears, Lord, we are calling out
Lifting up your name for all to hear the sound
Like voices in the wilderness, we're crying out
And as the day draws near
We'll sing until the whole world hears
Lord, let your sleeping giant rise
Catch the demons by surprise
Holy nation sanctified
Let this be our battle cry
Ready yourselves, ready yourselves
Let us shine the light of Jesus in the darkest night
Ready yourselves, ready yourselves
May the powers of darkness tremble as our praises rise
Until the whole world hears, Lord, we are calling out
Lifting up your name for all to hear the sound
Like voices in the wilderness, we're crying out
And as the day draws near
We'll sing until the whole world hears
We'll sing until the whole world hears
We'll sing until the whole world hears
I want to be your hands and feet
I want live a life that leads
To see you set the captive free
Until the whole world hears
And I pray that they will see
More of you and less of me
Lord, I want my life to be
The song You sing
Until the whole world hears, Lord, we are calling out
Lifting your name up for all to hear the sound
Like voices in the wilderness, we're crying out
And as the day draws near
We'll sing until the whole world hears
Until the whole world hears- Casting Crowns

Team Ginelove consists of a group of my friends who are coming along side me to help get this fundraising venture off the ground.
Team Ginelove is a group of very busy people with their own lives and responsibilities who are so graciously giving of their time.
Time. There is rarely any of it to spare. And yet, several people are giving so much of their time for me, for raising support so I can go. So I can go share Jesus with the others. Without Team Ginelove, I can’t go. Without the help of Lindsey, G; Lindsey, H; Charlette; Allison; Kathy; Stu; Jared just to name a few. I can’t go share Jesus.
I am so thankful for their time and skills. It’s amazing how the body of Christ comes together, how each of us has a role to play. Each person here is playing a part in a bigger story. I am one of many characters. They are my support. And for that, I am so grateful. I cannot repay them. I can only say thank you and accept their time and skills as a gift from our God who has providentially placed us together to form Team Ginelove.
Here's a few of us our first group meeting hashing out ideas, assigning roles and taking action.

We are gearing up. We are excited and we need You. We need your time, skills, and money. I need support in any and all ways. I currently need to raise $13,185.50 dollars.
Tentative Future Fundraising Events:
-
Concert (March)
-
Super Large Yard Sale (we will need your stuff, so when you start spring cleaning save it for me!) (April)
-
Outdoor Movie Night (May)
-
Raffle Tickets for some really great great prizes! (This Spring)
-
T-shirts will be for sale soon! (Very Very Soon!)
